The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
